Learn About Evolution Cards
My Story
Growing Up Around Pokémon Fans
With two older brothers who were passionate about Pokémon. I soon followed after then. With only a smaller understanding I still loved collecting and watching the anime. I also had many friends and cousins who would love "playing the game" with me (We had no clue how to play).
Lost Interest in the Hobby
Unfortunetly, after growing up some more. Life became more complex and I didn't have time or the attention for Pokémon anymore. I slowly lost interest and forgot about it. I got out of the hobby around the XY era.
Surging Sparks Sparked Interest
When Christmas 2024 hit. I was on the hunt for Pokemon for my brothers. I did some research and the most recent set was Surging Sparks. What came along with the research was the finding of the beauty of new modern sets. I fell in love with the amazing art.
The Obsession Began
With the current Pokémon craze and a better understanding of collecting and rarity, I fell in love with it all over again. I wanted to collect, but with limited income and the increase in prices I wanted a way to enjoy what I was passionate about without bankrupting myself. So, I decided to start a business doing the thing I so desperately wish I could do for myself.
Why Start a Rip and Ship?
For me, I’ve always loved Pokémon in some capacity. Either the games, collecting cards, or the anime. I started this rip and ship journey not to make a quick buck, but because I genuinely love the thrill of opening packs and sharing that excitement with others.
Pokémon cards have always been more than just cards. They have been about the memories made, the community, trading with others to find your missing piece, and the joy of discovering something rare, nostalgic, cool, or cute. So, I wanted to create a space where collectors, casual fans, and newcomers can all come together to experience that excitement in real-time!
Product Sourcing
I understand everyone is quite upset at anyone who has large quantities of Pokémon cards right now. Easy to always assume they are scalpers ruining the experience and the hobby from others. I can understand the frustration. I too found it incredibly difficult to find product to gift to my brothers for Christmas. Then when I got back into collecting myself I couldn’t find anything in stores.
So please note that, I source my product responsibly through a secondary retailer who has a distributor. I try to price my products as reasonably as possible! I want to make cards as accessible to all as I can. I hope to get as close to MSRP as I can one day!
What is a Rip and Ship
In my opinion a rip and ship is an experience where you can purchase sealed Pokémon card parks and products, to be opened live on stream. You get to watch the packs being opened in real-time and share the hype with the community. Then I ship the cards straight to you once you are ready with your amount of cards. It’s a fun, interactive way to collect. You also never have to go out of the house to deal with the craziness of the Pokémon times right now.
